Dr. Melissa Harrer

 I am a graduate from Iowa State University's College of Veterinary Medicine.  My philosophy on veterinary medicine is to provide high quality care, thorough examination, and comprehensive diagnostic and treatment options.  I enjoy all aspects of veterinary medicine, especially internal medicine and surgery; predominately soft tissue, orthopedic and laser surgery.  I grew up in Larchwood, a small town in Northwest Iowa. I spent a lot of time on my grandparents' farm and was able to interact with many different animals.  My husband and I have 2 cats (Mufasa and Roe) and a dog, Maggie.
